Q1a: Optical element(lens), chemical element(film), and mechanical element(camera itself).

Q2a: SLR: single-lens-reflex-camera where the photographer sees exactly the same image that is exposed to the film and can adjust everything by turning dials and clicking buttons.

Q3a: To increase or decrease the amount of lighting passing through the lens, you have to change the size of the aperture.

Q4a: The length of the photo is determined by the shutter speed.

Q5a: You have to balance film speed, aperture, size and shutter speed.

Q6a: High film speed, less light goes into it.

Q7a:
1. The film is placed in developing agent that is actually a reducing agent. Reducing agent will convert all the silver ions into the silver metal.
2. Rinse the film with water, or use the "stop" bath.
3. Fixer, dissolves only silver halide crystals, leaving silver metal behind.
4. Film is washed with water to remove all the processing chemicals, and the film strip is dried.

Q8a: Enlarger, processing chemicals and black and white paper.

Q9a: Final image is actually developed silver.
